Timucuan Ecological & Historic Preserve

 

Fort Caroline offers immersive curriculum-based education programs throughout the school year. Programs focus on how humans have impacted the environment throughout northeast Florida ’s history and the historical and environmental influence of Timucuan and European settlement of this area. Staff-led and self-guiding programs and materials are available. Off-site programs are available on a limited basis. Call for ranger program schedules.

Kingsley Plantation offers immersive curriculum-based education programs throughout the school year. Students will develop an understanding of daily life at Kingsley Plantation, the interactions within the slave families, as well as between the owner and the slave community. Staff-led and self-guiding programs and materials are available. Off-site programs are available on a limited basis. Ranger programs are offered daily at 2:00 p.m.
