St. Johns River Water Management District
The St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) offers a variety of educational programs about Florida's water resources for all ages. These range from "Project WET" workshops for teachers, to the annual "Make a Splash" and "Water Education Festival" programs. The District also offers a variety of free educational materials which can be downloaded or ordered from their website. SJRWMD coordinates the Watershed Action Volunteer (WAV) program. WAV volunteers participate in water quality monitoring, monitoring of submerged aquatic vegetation, and water quality education programs.
